A lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Hello everyone.

Can you believe it is Thursday already? This week has just spun past at warp speed. This morning was spent doing the usual chores and things, nothing too exciting. So this afternoon I thought we would get out of the house and go to the library. Now my thinking behind this wasn't really smart. The girls were being noisy and playing with every possible toy that made the loudest sound. So I thought we should get out and maybe pre-occupy them with something else. So where do you take two noisy girls...to the library of course. The place where you need to be the most quiet. Smart thinking Renee :) Surprisingly it worked out quite well. The girls calmed down and we sat in the comfy chairs reading a few books. Followed by the girls choosing a couple of books each (after much deliberation) and coming home. The books we brought home today were:

All of baby nose to toes - by Victoria Adler; illustrated by Hiroe Nakata
What time is it, Mr Crocodile - by Judy Sierra; Illustrated by Doug Cushman
My Backpack -
by Eve Bunting ; illustrated by Maryann Cocca-Leffler
Wag - by Patrick McDonnell
The little mermaid - retold by Katie Daynes ; illustrated by Alan Marks

So I thought today I would mark our visit to the library in Project 365.

Don't you just love that quote by Victor Hugo, I had to add it to this photo it just seemed to fit.

Until tomorrow
